While we were in Iowa, my sister kindly volunteered to watch Bridget so Josh and I could go on a date. We decided to go to Joe's Crab Shack. Josh had been wanting to try it and he LOVES seafood, so it was perfect. He got this huge bucket of crab, lobster and shrimp. He was in heaven!
I don't like shell fish, so I got the Mahi Mahi with Mango Pico de Gallo, it was delish. After that we walked around the mall, and managed to find room in our stomachs for some Coldstone ice cream!

27 weeks

I realized it had been a while since I last took a belly pic, and wanted an updated one. I have gotten much bigger, but am still in the comfortable stage of pregnancy. I can tell I don't have much time left though, because I am starting to get REALLY full when I eat, and I feel like I have barely eaten anything! It's really annoying because I will want to eat dessert after dinner, but I will be so full that I can't! And you know I must be really full if I can't even stomach a dessert! While we were in Iowa I practically felt sick the entire time because I was eating SO much! That was when I knew I had to start eating much smaller portions and not as often once we got home! Oh and not all of the baby girls kicks are cute and fun. About half the time now she will do one that just hurts! If pregnancy was 30 weeks that would be perfect!
Otherwise I can't complain too much, things have been going pretty smoothly. Now that my posion ivy is better, life is much more enjoyable. Oh by the way, I went on Trek 24 weeks pregnant and did totally fine hiking, until I got posion ivy!! So annoying! But they put me on steroids and that helped a ton, so I'm good now. Next week I have my 28 week appointment and glucose test. Everyone pray that I don't have gestational diabetes or else I will be one grumpy pregnant woman!

4th of July

For the holiday week we decided to drive up to Iowa to visit my sister and her family. Josh just had to work a half day on Tuesday so we left at noon, and got in around 6. A little bit later my sister and I went to the grocery store to get a few things and when we came back, all the kids were outside and Josh told me Bridget had already been jumping on the trampoline and that she touched a frog!!! Let the summer vacation begin, right?! The next day on the 4th, we went to their towns parade. This was Bridget's first parade and she really enjoyed it! The funniest part was that when people would throw candy at us, Bridget would just throw it back, all the while I am trying to collect it! My sister and I with all the kiddos
Trying to get a picture of Bridget...next to impossible
After the parade we came home and set up the baby pool and slip n' slide! The high that day was over 100!
She LOVES the water!
All of the kids except Mary Anne, she fell asleep on the way home from the parade!
That night we went to the park to watch Fireworks! Bridget fell asleep on the way, and the park is like 2 minutes away! She was that tired! Josh and I debated just going home, but we decided to wake her up. She had never seen fireworks before, so we really wanted to go. She ended up loving them and watching pretty intently. It was a great 4th of July spent with family and having fun!
