Parks

Before it gets TOO cold, we have been trying to be outside as much as possible!!!

Grounded from markers!

{cleaning her face off with a baby wipe} When I had her look in the mirror to see what she did, she said she looked pretty with beautiful make up! I'm just glad it wasn't our couch!! I'd say we did pretty good seeing as we have never had a marker accident until now!

Camping

A few weekends ago we went camping with our friends the Rice's. They have family about an hour and a half south with property, so we just pretty much camped in their backyard! The girls had fun playing in their camping chairs!
Bridget got to shoot one of Josh's little guns, she was actually really into. They were aiming at balloons, and she loved popping them! I never imagined my little 3 year old would be holding or shooting a gun, but what else would I expect from Josh!
When we got out the ATV, Bridget wanted nothing to do with it! Josh and I were really surprised, so we put Mackenna on it, thinking that would get Bridget on, but she still didn't want to!
The next morning out of no where, Bridget said she wanted to ride the ATV. Josh and I just laughed, imagining her little brain thinking about it all night long. She loved it and talked about it the whole week!

Eckerts!

We took our annual fall trip over to Illinois, to go to Eckerts farm! The girls had so much fun seeing all the farm animals, playing on the swings and taking a tractor ride! Mackenna looked like she was going to fall asleep, Josh had a nice rocking motion going!
While I did some activities with Bridget, Josh took Mackenna and tried to get some pictures of her. As you can tell she was pretty serious, and just wanted to eat the corn off the ground!
Bridget got to ride a pony!
Mackenna LOVED the tractor ride! Even though it was pretty cold and windy she had so much fun pointing and saying "that" at everything! Haha
This is always a fun trip for the day!

Mackenna turns ONE!

Mackenna's birthday was last Thursday, and it was pretty much like every other day. Bridget went to preschool, Josh went to work, she and I had a nice relaxing day at home. That night for dinner, we had our friend Britney and her two kids over. Her husband has been away doing his rotations for Optometry school. So it was kina like a little birthday party, I made cupcakes, and she LOVED it!! It was funny to watch, because Bridget didn't want anything to do with cake on her first birthday. Mackenna has been a food lover from day one, so I wasn't that surprised!
Love this little girl so much!
